Shady. Clear, warm water. Pine needles. Must walk through water to get to beach area. Good for kids. Small parking - attendant on duty. Very pretty. Bike rack.
Great Pond Beach offers warm, clear water. The small strip of sand does not hold too many people, mostly shade over the sandy area.
Long, windy stairs lead down to the pond area and visitors must then travel through water to reach the sand. This may not be an ideal beach for all visitors.
