Orleans Cape Cod Beaches - Nauset Beach
Beach Road, Orleans, MA
Nauset Beach in Orleans is one of the most popular beaches on the Lower Cape; this ocean beach has cooler water and good size waves. The waves are great for body surfing and using a "boogie board". The water can be tough to get in, but once you get in the water it feels great. Seals are frequently seen popping their heads up.
There is a snack bar serving hamburgers, french fries, hot dogs, and great onion rings, as well as restrooms and outdoor showers. The beach is also popular with fisherman, and a starting point for four wheeling into the dunes.
The parking lot is large, but often fills up early.
